Women's Bible Study Groups
The Women's Bible Study Groups currently consists of three groups.
They invite and encourage you to become a member of one of these
groups that meets monthly to learn and grow spiritually through Bible
study, take part in worthwhile projects that serve others, and get to
know and support each other through Christian Fellowship.
Study
Group 1
meets the first Tuesday in each month at
10:00 AM. Most members are retired. They usually meet in
the Session Room at the church or in the homes of members. In addition to Bible Study they contribute
to others in various ways. They pay for five Bibles monthly to
be distributed by The American Bible Society in countries where they
are most needed. They contribute monthly to Cooperative
Christian Ministry.
Study
Group 2
meets the first Tuesday in each month at 7:00
PM. Members are various ages. They usually meet at the
church, but occasionally meet in the homes of various members. They contribute monthly to CCM,
go Christmas Caroling, host a Bingo Valentine Party for a home for
emotionally and mentally handicapped people, serve meals at the Night
Shelter and for Habitat House workers, and help with other projects of
the church.
Study Group 3
meets the first Tuesday in each month at 7:00
PM. They usually meet in the homes of members. They honor
the graduates in the spring and remember the congregation's college
students throughout the academic year. They support Breast
Cancer Awareness, help at the Night Shelter, and support other

Mission Opportunities and Trips
Mission
opportunities with local agencies, as well as national and foreign
trips, incorporate youth and adults
using their time and talents to
help others.
Bethpage Church congregation, along with other churches involved in
the Kannapolis area mini-cluster provide volunteers to assist families
in our area through the Family Promise Network.
Family Promise of Cabarrus
County, an Interfaith Hospitality Network, began serving homeless
families on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
Members of our congregation also roll
up their sleeves and donate their time on the construction site with
Habitat for Humanity to
help eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from Cabarrus County.
Mission
trips are open to anyone in the church who is interested in
participating and are supported by the church's Mission Project Fund.
Previous mission trips include: Kentucky, Mexico, West Virginia,
Alaska, Honduras, Washington, and other disaster areas.
A mission trip to Long Beach, Mississippi in August, 2009, included
several members from Bethpage as they continue the rebuilding and clean up after Hurricane Katrina.
Our Pioneer Youth Group has collected school
supplies to fill book packs for AIDs orphans in Cameroon, Africa.
These items were presented to Abong Ngranui-Fankam, who along with
Yvonne Tiandem-Adamou, founded
A Place of Hope, a non
profit, public, tax exempt charitable organization to promote, assist
and maintain a close working relationship with all individuals and
agencies interested in the welfare of children who are affected by
HIV/AIDS in Cameroon, Africa. Their goal is to provide backpacks
and school supplies to 100,000 AIDS orphans by the year 2015.
The organization's vision is to build and maintain a life center that
will provide both outpatient and inpatient medical services,
vocational skills and career guidance, emergency residential services,
counseling and spiritual services to those affected by HIV/AIDS. You
