The Sign of Jonah

A Series of Special Services for Lent

Jonah? . . . for Lent? Sounds fishy, but it's a natural fit. When the scribes and Pharisees asked Jesus for a sign, he said, "No sign will be given except the sign of Jonah" (Matthew 12:38-42). After three days in the belly of the earth, Jesus rose with news of God's prodigal grace. This series of special services explores the meaning of "The Sign of Jonah" as we follow Jesus on his way to the cross.

Palm Sunday ~ April 17

Worship Services at 8:30 and 11:00 AM with the

Processional of the Palms in the Church Sanctuary

Congregational Covered Dish Lunch at Noon

in the Fellowship Hall followed by the

Annual Egg Hunt for the children of the community

Maundy Thursday ~ April 21

Holy Communion Service at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall

Good Friday ~ April 22

Service at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary

Easter Sunday ~ April 24

Easter Sunrise Service at 6:41 AM in the Church Cemetery
(please bring chairs to sit on and flowers for the cross)
