Vacation Bible School 2010 was a community event!  Five area Presbyterian churches (Bethpage Concord, Bethpage Kannapolis, Cedar Grove, Covenant, Kannapolis and the Latino Mission Christ Saviour) came together for a Galactic Blast in an effort to create community and reach out to our community.

This Joint VBS was held at Bethpage Presbyterian Church, Kannapolis on July 13th, 14th and 15th.  We began each day with a delicious supper followed by classes, activities and programs for every age group --- infants through adults.  A fun time was had by all with an average attendance of 170-200 people each night!

Our VBS mission project this year was supporting the Latino food pantry.  In addition to a monetary offering, food items were collected during VBS each evening.

The 2010 Joint Vacation Bible School was just one of the ministries of the Kannapolis Area Mini-Cluster --- a group of Presbyterian churches in our area working together to provide ministry outside their own church walls.  Along with joint services within the group, other ministries the Mini-Cluster supports are Family Promise and Stop Hunger Now.
